On the day, Yoo Chun seemed a little big tired but said hello all each crew and cast members. The cast members, including Han Ji Min, Lee Tae Sung, and Jung Yumi, also offered words of consolation to Yoo Chun, holding his hands.

Director Shin Yoon Seop also had a short conversation with Yoo Chun before the shooting started and said thank you to him for returning to the set.

It was the first shooting after the death of Yoo Chun’s father, but Yoo Chun did his best to concentrate on his acting. Other cast members also focused more on their acting than any other time.

[TRANS] 120315 Tohoshinki’s New Single Achieves Number 1 On The Oricon Charts

Tohoshinki’s new single achieved number 1 on the Oricon charts once it was released.

According to the Oricon charts on 15 March, Tohoshinki’s new single “Still”, released on 14 March, achieved number 1 on the Oricon daily single chart.

This song forgoes what can be said to be Tohoshinki’s best weapon, their powerful performances, and is instead an emotional medium-tempo ballad. In addition, “One More Thing”, which is also recorded in the single, has been chosen as the theme song for Bee TV’s drama “Let M”.

On another note, Tohoshinki is currently holding their nation-wide tour, which began in Yokohama Arena on 18 January, and will be held at 11 other areas across Japan. This concert has been well-received, and will attract approximately 550,000 local fans.

[News] 120313 JYJ completes world tour and prepares for second English album

After successfully completing a year of their world tour, JYJ has revealed that they will now be focusing on their individual activities and the release of their second official English album in the second half of the year.

On March 13th, C-JeS Entertainment revealed that 6,000 fans showed up to watch JYJ perform in Peru. For over a week, fans had been camping outside the concert hall awaiting the boys’ arrival and their show. Their dreams were met for even after it was all over, they were reported to have been chanting for more.

For the past year, the boys have toured a total of 15 different cities and performed for a 210,000 member audience, completely selling out 12 of those cities and recording 80% higher ticketing rates than the average.

CEO Baek Chang Joo expressed, “JYJ will be focusing on their album production and their individual activities for now. In the second half of the year, they will release a second English album.”

He continued, “This world tour was possible only because it was JYJ. Their popularity is great enough to be able to open a concert anywhere in the world. Through this, they earned confidence and know-how, which is one of the many reasons why I’m looking for their world tour next year.”

[NEWS] JYJ’s Siblings Tweet about Sasaeng Fans and JYJ’s life

JYJ and Sasaeng fans” has become a hot topic on several websites recently.

JYJ are currently on tour in South America, during their press conference in Chile on the 8th of March they voiced out about the incident and gave a little explanation. As news keeps changing and more reports are made about these ‘sasaeng fans’, it seems it will be very hard to gain a full understanding of their feelings about this controversy.

However, their siblings who have been staying with them, stepped up and expressed how they feel regarding their sasaeng fans.

On March 9th, Jaejoong’s sister and Junsu’s brother Junho brought up this matter on their twitter accounts as well as showing their support for JYJ.

(Jaejoong’s sister and Junsu’s twin brother’s tweets regarding this issue)

Jaejoong’s sister Minkyeong :

This is the reason why celebrities get depressed and commit suicide! This is the reason why they become bi-polar or get depressed! I am past my 30’s yet when I get a little mad my anger will just build up~ They’re sasaeng yet I think they rather are Grim Reapers or stalkers! When I heard Jaejoong’s mention on Kakao Talk I was really surprised and my heart skipped a beat.

Even though there are so many words and expressions, why is it that Jaejoong’s has become the most frightening and depressing one?

Even three year olds are able to express themselves when they aren’t able to do what they wish to do. For the purpose of one’s self-fulfillment, they hurt others mentally (through the heart). They’re still children who were already mentally exhausted even without them! [sasaeng]. Even though I am next to him [not in a literal sense] there is nothing I can say or do to help him. I hate this sad reality! The world’s most depressing message. thought. expression from Jaejoong. […] However, there aren’t just sasaengs around Jaejoong.

I recall something he once said before, ‘I’ll sing even if there is just one person who will listen to my music and protect me’ Thus he is very thankful and is able to continue to sing. Right now Jaejoong is singing for those fans and is doing so happily. He isn’t singing for sasaengs, correct? No matter how hard it is and how much it has hurt, for those fans whom have been supporting him with smiles, even today they should be able to support/protect him.

Translator’s note: In the end, his sister says that though Jaejoong cannot sing in his own country, so long as he can sing anywhere for his fans is great. The fact that he did not give up being a singer makes her proud and she really enjoys listening to his songs.

Junsu’s brother Junho:

Seeing this problem from the perspective of fans, the reality of this problem is very disturbing. I think it would be correct in recognizing that these are not fans but stalkers. Criminals of life and death…the real words and facial expressions, actions and voices from the actual people are not included in this audio…This is the editing of a devil.

Before, when my brother came home for a holiday, I saw his face that was suffering from saesangs but I said that because they’re fans they will treat them (JYJ) well…until I went with him, after that I thought this was maddening…

They love their fans more than anything, and they’re so grateful to them…But because of sasaengs, this perversion (T/N:of the fan culture) is painful…Before, the fan culture was evolving into a beautiful entity. The fans that have their stars, and the stars that have their fans.

After this, I hope that there will be a change back into, or even, a more beautiful fan culture in the future.

Note: “Sasaeng” is the Korean term for fans who follow idols every day, even going so far as to break into their homes, steal their phones and Social Security numbers, and follow them in taxis or personal cars until all hours of the day. Sasaeng fans, also sometimes referred to as “privates,” are largely considered not to be true fans and are frowned upon by most fanclub members.

Tohohearts strongly discourages stalking and intrusion into their private lives.

[NEWS] Rooftop Prince, staring Han Ji Min and JYJ’s Park Yoochun, is coming 24th March!

Han Ji Min and Park Yoo Chun say they don’ want to mind series by other broadcast stations that will be airing at the same time.

JYJ’s Yoo Chun was present at the gathering when the production of Rooftop Prince (written by Lee Hee Myung and produced by Shin Yoon Sub) was announced, which was held at the Lotte Hotel in Jamsil, Seoul on March 5 at 2:30 p.m. He mentioned other series, saying “I’ve read loads of articles discussing The King 2Hearts, Equator Man, and Rooftop Prince beginning to air at the same time.”

He added, “I don’t want to mind the other series because I don’t think we’re in a competitive relationship. Their genres are much different. We expect our comic genre appeals to you because the economic conditions are not good. I feel a bit of pressure on doing better, shooting the series.”

The actress said, “It always happens that TV series by other production air at the same time, so I’m not worried about it. I was just attracted by characters and stories of our series, and I guess other series have their own styles. There are people of different tastes nowadays, and they can choose what they want to watch. I’ll just do my best at whatever I can.”

Rooftop Prince has a concept of time travel and the story is about Prince Lee Gak (Yoochun) who travels to the future, from Joseon Dynasty era (about 300 years ago) to modern days (Seoul, in 2012), to meet the girl he loves, Park Ha (Han Ji Min) after they drift away in Joseon Dynasty era.

The Prince travels to the future with his men, Song Man Bo (Lee Min Ho), Woo Yong Sul (Jung Suk Won), and Do Chi San (Choi Woo Shik).

The first episode is to air on March 24 after the series Take Care of Us, Captain comes to an end.
